Large house on the edge of the forest, near rivers and Lake Maggiore, in beautiful nature in Ticino, with 3 cats and a “part-time job” is looking for you!
We would like to create the possibility to travel in 2023/24 for half a year or even longer. Since we run a small but lovely online store from home, we are looking for responsible and reliable people of heart, who ideally bring experience in the topic of food/store management – and would like to live here during this time and continue the store and lovingly take care of our three cats. You should be at least 2, whether a couple, threes or even fours, there is enough space.
The online store currently makes around 15 and 20 hours of work per week with compensation. You would mainly manage the physical activities on site mostly independently. This includes a number of different activities such as labeling the bags, weighing and packing products, preparing for shipping and managing inventory, etc. Since some products are delivered in bags/boxes that weigh up to 25kg, so it takes at least one strong back in the team. We will continue to take care of all administrative work remotely (reorders, customer or supplier communication, etc) and stay in contact with you in a regular base.
Our house is located 20 minutes from Locarno and has 6 rooms. The basement is used for the online shop, while on the ground floor there are three bedrooms, living room, kitchen, dining area and two bathrooms. A covered terrace leads to the private garden with views of the forest and mountains. A small, refreshing stream is just a 2-minute walk away, while the larger river is a 2-minute bike ride away. A car, scooter, mountain bikes, kayak, as well as various musical instruments and other amenities are available for shared use.
Our three cats are wonderful, loving and easy to care for siblings, but by breed need their daily cuddles.
Prerequisites are that you have been able to keep your intuition and common sense during the last 3 years and that you have been able to strengthen your faith in yourselves even more during this challenging time. We are confident that with honest, open-minded, reliable people this can result in a very nice arrangement.

We are Jasmin & Nicolas, 41 and 45 years old, cruising through life together for 11 years now. Inspired by our long Canada/USA trip, we started this small online business.
